If you find yourself constantly looking at those annoying lines on your face, this one might be for you!
Botulinum toxin, often referred to as ‘Botox™’, is a neurotoxin that is widely used to soften wrinkles and fine lines by softening muscle movement. It was FDA approved in 2002 and is most commonly used to treat the lines on the forehead, glabella, and outer eyes.
In addition to softening muscle movements, it can also be used to treat TMJ and excessive sweating in the armpits and hands.
There are 4 different types of botulinum toxins currently on the market. At Idriss Dermatology, Dr. Shereene Idriss tailors the toxin and dosage based on the patient’s individual needs:
“Nobody deserves to sag… or sink” is a motto Dr. Shereene Idriss lives by. Both are horrible words and even more horrible concepts. To new patients, dermal fillers can sound absolutely terrifying. If the fear of huge cheeks and overblown lips scares you, be rest assured that they scare us too and you have landed in the right place.
Dr. Shereene Idriss does not use dermal fillers to “fill” your face. Restoring your facial structure by lifting the proportions of your face is what it’s all about.
Like an artist utilizes various paint brushes to paint, at Idriss Dermatology, we use a combination of non-permanent dermal fillers tailored to your unique needs:
When evaluating a face and a person, it’s always a 360° approach. From acne scars to hair loss, no matter your stage of life, Idriss Dermatology offers you a solution to help address your concerns.
